About Softball

One of my editors asked me yesterday if I played softball in high school...

And yes... I did.

So now I'm shooting a tournament all weekend. Those bright yellow balls whizzing by take me back to the day when I took a line drive to the face. I had a black eye for prom... I think it looked cool because my it matched my dress.

Chimayó

* I know this is really late... sorry.


The annual pilgramages to the Santurio do Chimayó continue every Easter weekend. Most pilgrims start walking in Santa Fe, twenty-seven miles to the south, but others come the eighty miles from Albuquerque, walking part of the way barefoot or crawling the last few yards on their knees.

Bored...

So I took some self portraits.

My second passion in life (I hate when people say "passion") is singing. I was looking to be a voice major my first few semesters of college... but then I found photojournalism....so here I am.




...and this photo really doesn't even look like me.
