In mourning

It's been almost 2 months since I suffered the loss of my Springer Spaniel, Audrey. She died on September 11, in the company of my parents. She would have been 11 years old on October 22.

The past few months have been a struggle, and I'm not going to say it's over but it certainly feels a little better. I'm still shooting, still training for roller derby, still planning my wedding, and still worrying about my dad's health.
